Over a year ago I started a project called Songs for One where I sang to one person at a time. It was an intimate, meditative experience that created many moments of laughter, tears and human connection. Most of all, it was a one-on-one exchange of songs with a simple message of hope and love. This past year I’ve been in the studio creating an EP based on the Songs for One experience, bringing the songs to life in a way that I hope will reach many more people. This spring I’m also collaborating with some incredible women animators to bring a unique visual experience to these songs, and will be releasing all this heartfelt work in the summer of 2019. Stay tuned by following me on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, or sign up for my mailing list to be the first to know when it comes out!
Very excited to be part of Apologies From Men, an album and live show created by fellow musician/comedian Lauren Maul. We take the half-assed apologies of celebrity men and turn them into a woke AF musical version of #metoo. Check out Matt Lauer's apology, "Sorrow & Regret", as featured on exclaim.ca:
Spent this past weekend in upstate NY shooting the music video for my new song "Shittier". We spent a lot of time making fake poop, getting hit by fake poop - and, of course, cleaning up fake poop! "Shittier" is my first music video in almost eight years, and explores the current "shitty" state of the world with humor and hope - while offering historical and personal perspectives as well.
The video is directed by Angel Yau (AZN POP, Billy on the Street), and the track was produced by Jody Shelton (Star Wars: The Farce Awakens, 50 Shades! The Musical), mastered by Joe Lambert (The Revenant Soundtrack, Dirty Projectors), and written & performed by me.
"Shittier" premieres all over the Internet later next month!
Just came back from a week in the woods with Fresh Ground Pepper, a wonderful theatre collective based in NYC that incubates new works by artists across all mediums. I was able to experiment with expanding Songs for One into new formats and settings, and collaborated with some really exciting writer/performers on their works as well! Here are some pictures of my time in the Lehigh Valley:
I'm very proud to announce my latest musical project, Songs for One. Songs for One is an incredibly intimate musical experience performed for an audience of one.
Audience members make an appointment with me for a personalized three song set in locations all over New York City. Part performance, part musical therapy, Songs for One is an invitation to connect through music with hearts open and masks down.

I'm so excited to announce my new project, *69! I've combined two of my greatest passions, R&B and classical piano, to create an EP of 90s R&B songs lovingly reimagined as intimate vocal-piano arrangements.
For the next six weeks I'll be releasing a different cover of a 90s R&B hit, and the full *69 EP will be available on iTunes and all major streaming platforms soon. All performances were filmed and recorded in one take at Michiko Studios.
